The BBC is promoting the Angus and Dundee Roots festival at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/tayside_and_central/7596589.stm.
Unfortunately the festival clashes with the National Family History Fair at Gateshead, which is the second biggest fair in Britain, meaning I won't be able to attend, but it looks to have some interesting events.
