John Reid has blogged a report on the recent Bracknell Family History Fair down in England, in which he notes that the release of the Chelsea Pension military records (held by TNA) and due to be published by FindmyPast.co.uk "may well be delayed owing to a publicity embargo in connection with the forthcoming UK election". I'm not sure how the release can be caught up with politics, unless the concern is in not getting enough coverage due to the election, but worth noting!
John also caught up with Chris Pomeroy, author of DNA and Family History, who has stated that the second edition has almost sold out, and that "any future version will not be published by TNA which has exited the publishing business".
