Ancient gold treaure found in Stirling

It's not just the English turning up ancient gold treasures with their metal detectors...!

Following on from the recent discovery of an Anglo-Saxon treasure found by Terry Herbert in Staffordshire comes news of another impressive metal detecting find from the outskirts of Stirling. The treasure, estimated to be valued up to a million pounds, contains four gold torcs, a type of twisted necklace from the 1st to 3rd centuries BC.
