I'm new to using computers for family history.
ReplyDeleteMy 2 greats granny was brought up in the work house in Galashiels, I think, and her niece and nephew were also poor, and lived in or near Melrose.
I know nothing about the Poor Law. Will one of these Cds tell me what I need to know, or how to use the records ?
The Cds don't cost much, but is there a way of finding whether they cover those family members.
