Maxwell Ancestry has made available Dispensary Patient Records from Kelso from 1778-79 at www.maxwellancestry.com/ancestry/resources/kelsodisp1.pdf. The document provides details for over 300 patients, with information such as name, parish, recommender, date of admission, age, disease, and eventual outcome of their case.
The document is a sample from a much fuller book which the company is currently producing, which will be made available through its shop in due course. For more information, visit the company blog at http://scottishgenealogyblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/kelso-dispensary-year-one-pdf.html.
