The Consultation Draft of the proposed five year long National Strategy for Business Archives in Scotland is now available for comment via the Business Archives Scotland blog, where it can be downloaded in PDF format
The strategy has four main proposals:
I. To raise awareness amongst businesses of the value of archives and provide
guidance and support.
II. To increase the number of collections publicly accessible.
III. To raise the profile of business archives with the public.
IV. To raise standards in their care.
