Traquair House smells amazing - that's the verdict of the Scotland for the Senses blog! It has an interesting post at http://scotland4thesenses.blogspot.com/2010/04/leading-you-by-nose-to-traquair.html. The gates of Traquair have been closed since Bonnie Prince Charlie visited in 1744, and won't be reopened until a Stuart once again takes the throne (though presumably rust might get them first!)
Don't forget to reset your nose by sniffing your skin...! :) (Honest, read the post!)
