Maxwell Ancestry has digitised and made available online more valuation rolls from Dumfriesshire 1896-97 on its site.
The collection now includes records for Annan, Applegarth, Caerlaverock, Canonbie, Closeburn, Cummertrees, Dalton, Dornock, Dryfesdale, Dumfries, Dunscore and Durisdeer. Note that the Dumfries and Annan records are the landward parts of the parish only (i.e. not the burgh records).
