The new series of BBC1's Who Do You Think You Are has had its transmission delayed until the autumn, as revealed in the editorial of this month's BBC tie in magazine, which had originally intended to promote the new run in its current issue. The Herald newspaper has provided further confirmation, in an article designed to tie in with the Queen's visit to the ScotlandsPeople Centre in Edinburgh today, announcing that the series will commence in September (see Getting to the Root of Family Trees).
The next series will feature Patsy Kensit, Esther Rantzen, Jodie Kidd, Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, Boris Johnson and Jerry Springer. Production is currently underway for a further series, which will include the Fife based roots of comedian Rory Bremner amongst its celebrity line up.

This show looks a lot like the show that’s currently airing called THE GENERATIONS PROJECT. But Generations features average folks which I actually really like. And they also interview the people after their journey which is so cool because they have time to really process the experience and we get to see how it really does change their lives.
