Tragedy of world's oldest clipper

The world's oldest clipper ship, the City of Adelaide, is quietly rotting away in Irvine, Ayrshire. With an estimate of £20 million to repair the ship, the decision has now been taken to scrap the vessel. Personally, I find it both tragic and disgraceful. If it was Henry VIII's flagship, I suspect the outcome would be different...
