Childers Reforms of 1881
Adam Brown of the Scottish Military Research Group has posted an interesting piece on the 1881 Childers Reforms which saw the dramatic reorganisation of the Scottish regiments within the British Army - and how the Queen was not amused at plans for her own Cameron Highlanders!
