Fife police archive online
Fife Council Archives has added a surname list of policemen for whom it has service records online at www.fifedirect.org.uk/publications/index.cfm?fuseaction=publication.pop&pubid=AF2471DE-E467-B3C9-5E5CA5D7B12A0681. The collection includes details of police officers who joined the Dunfermline City force between 1874 and 1913, the Burgh of Kirkcaldy force between 1877 and 1948 and the Fife county police force between 1858 and 1950.
