The Genealogist - military records on the way

The Genealogist (www.thegenealogist.co.uk) has just alerted me that it will soon be uploading the following records to its military collections:

• 1914-1918 The Fifth Battalion Highland Light Infantry in the War
• 1914-1919 The Royal Scots
• 1650-1918 The Record of the Coldstream Guards

As well as records for several other English units, the site currently has several other Scots records already online, and one collection from Ulster:

• Regimental Records of Highland Light Infantry (Old 71st & 74th)
• 86th Foot Regiment (Royal County Down) Historical Records
• 1900 The Black Watch - Record of an Historic Regiment

There are also several overseas BMD and POW records concerning military personnel from across the UK.

More news on the new collections when I get it!
