It's Black History Month in the USA, and FamilySearch has a new platform at https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/black-history-month/ outlining some of the records and activities that may help to research African American heritage.
The page includes articles such as Facts about Black History, Black History Month Activities, Influential African American Women, Black History Month Is for Everyone, and a Black History Month Calendar.
NB: Black History Month in Britain and Ireland is celebrated in October annually, whereas the US and Canada celebrate it in February.
