They finally got there - the National Records of Scotland (www.nrscotland.gov.uk) has appointed a new Chief Executive, with Alison Byrne taking up the post from October 2024. Ms Byrne will be the new Registrar General for Scotland, the Keeper of the Records of Scotland, and Keeper of the Tartans.
