The excellent Culloden, a powerful docu-drama made in 1964, long before the term 'docu-drama' was ever coined, was shown on BBC4 late evening Saturday 5th September, followed later by The Making of Culloden, the recollections of Peter Watkins (director) on the making of the programme.
It can be viewed on the BBC iPlayer (www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer) for the next seven days, within the UK - well worth watching.

"Culloden" is a fantastic film, and I have to thank my High School history teacher for showing us it in class - it kicked off my interest in history!
ReplyDeleteLikewise - though we may have had different history teachers!
