From the National Library of Scotland (www.nls.uk):
We are still open and welcome all visitors to our buildings — George IV Bridge and Causewayside in Edinburgh, and the National Library at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow.
All services remain open — this includes our Reading Rooms and exhibition spaces — but we have taken the precautionary measure of postponing all events that were scheduled to take place in March.
We are closely monitoring Government advice on the coronavirus (COVID-19), and if the situation changes, we will update our website and associated social media channels.
Meanwhile, if you are unable to visit the Library or are otherwise homebound, we have a wealth of digital resources available for you to browse and reuse.
For more information about coronavirus in Scotland, please visit the Scottish Government website.
