From the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (www.nidirect.gov.uk/proni):
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland will be closed to the public from 4.45pm Wednesday 18 March until further notice.
Any forthcoming talks, events, group visits and workshops will be cancelled or rescheduled as appropriate, and those with tickets booked will be notified directly.
Whilst we remain able to do so, PRONI will continue to respond to written enquiries and operate our fee-paying search and copying service.
A range of digitised records, databases and other resources are also available online.
